Dr Megha Sarakshi Chadha is an Obstetrician-Gynecologist, specializing in fetomaternal medicine.
On completing her MBBS with Honors in Physiology, she went on to receive three years of post-graduate training in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Sikkim Manipal University.
She cleared her qualifying exam with flying colors, having stood first in her field, among her peers.
Since then she has worked at Tripolia Social Services Hospital, and is presently a consultant at Nalanda Medical College & Hospital, Patna.
She has been published in various reputed international journals, and being a keen academician and social scientist, maintains an active interest in clinical research.
She has also been a member of the Organising Committee of several conferences such as NEOGSCON, NE Yuva FOGSI etc.
She is also an active member of multiple societies and associations, and is a Lifetime Member of Patna Obstetric and Gynecological Society
As an intern at the reputed Government Multi-Specialty Hospital, Sector – 16, Chandigarh, she was trained in patient management in all subjects viz. Medicine, Surgery, OBG, Pediatrics, Eye, ENT, Skin, Anesthesia & Psychiatry.
As a Junior Resident (2014-2017) in the Department of Obstetrics & Gynecology at Sikkim Manipal University – Central Referral Hospital, she was posted in Labour Room, Wards & Neonatology Units, and was involved in various surgical interventions like Cesarean Section, Laparotomy, Laparoscopy, Medical Termination of Pregnancy, Tubal ligation & Hysterectomies. As a Consultant at Tripolia Social Services Hospital, she was actively involved in Obstetric patient management in the Out Patient Department, Labour Room as well as in operative interventions.
As a Consultant at Nalanda Medical College & Hospital, Patna, she continues to be actively involved in all aspects of Obstetric & Gynecological patient management, including handling high risk & complicated pregnancies.
She is also an active participant in the training of Junior Residents in the field of OBG.
